Report on the Use of AI in Digital Accessibility Research
Researchers from the Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Sages prepared a report, commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, on the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in digital accessibility research.
Researchers from Sages and the Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, jointly prepared a report on the possibilities of using artificial intelligence in digital accessibility research. The report has been published by the Ministry on the GOV.pl domain at: gov.pl/(…)/dostepnosc-cyfrowa/raport—analiza-mozliwosci-wykorzystania-sztucznej-inteligencji-w-obszarze-badania-dostepnosci-cyfrowej.
The report gathers recommendations, data, examples of applications, and conclusions regarding where AI can realistically support the analysis and assurance of digital accessibility, and where expert knowledge still plays a key role.
The analysis was prepared as part of the project “AI DC – artificial intelligence supporting digital accessibility”, carried out by the Ministry of Digital Affairs under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 programme. The project reflects the situation on the AI market as of the end of 2025.
