The Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences cordially invites you to its stand at the Palace in Jabłonna on September 20, 2025, where, as part of the 23rd “Science with the Palace in the Background” Festival, it will present the Polish Large Language Model (PLLuM). PLLuM, better than similar foreign models (such as ChatGPT), takes into account the characteristics of the Polish language and the Polish cultural context. You can interact with it and assign it various text tasks (writing an email, summarizing, or simplifying a text). During meetings with the audience, we will demonstrate which tasks it is best suited for and help you engage in independent conversations with PLLuM. Soon, every Pole will have the opportunity to work with PLLuM on their smartphone, thanks to the implementation of PLLuM in the #mobywatel app, commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Affairs. The HIVE consortium, composed of NASK, Wrocław University of Science and Technology, Institute of Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Institute of Slavic Studies of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Information Processing Center, University of Lodz, ACK CYFRONET AGH, and Central Informatics Center, is working on this project together.
The PLLuM project is commissioned by the Ministry of Digital Affairs, which owns the results and oversees PLLuM’s development. The PLLuM project was implemented by a consortium of six entities:
